|  A Wordpress site installed on a folder considered as an extension of the main site or separate?
I installed a Wordpress site in a folder of my main site eg.www[dot]mysite[dot]com/myfolder So would it be considered as a separate site altogether by search engines or as an extension of the main site? Would it be influenced by the ranking of the parent site? Thanks in advance.  |

It would be considered the same site and it will be influenced by the ranking of the main page if you link it from the main page.

It would be considered an extension of the main site. And your blog and your main site will have an overall SEO ranking determined by the content on your site and your blog.
