Be very careful with adsense... banned without tough reason...

One of my neighbors whom I taught IM got his Adsense account banned. His account was 3 years old but he was not able to use it before due to busy schedule. Last couple of days, he created a blog about hotels and posted around 7 unique articles. The domain was fresh. He then put adsense on it. He didn't even promoted the site yet. Adsense banned his account. I checked his website and the only reason I found was, his website has only homepage. He forgot to put privacy policy pages and other stuffs like that (sitemap, contact, etc)....

I believe there was no other reason that this.......

You must have these pages on your site or you are in violation of the agreed adsense terms and conditions.

Nobody to blame here but himself.

Read their terms carefully and follow them to the word

Google is very very intelligent when it comes to adsense and it's hard to believe that the account got banned for the reasons you mentioned. There should be some other reasons than this.

I already told him and hope google will reconsider as soon as he fixed everything...

Google hardly ever reconsiders adsense bans

Adsense would not ban you for not having a privacy policy. You don't
even "need" the other stuff.

We don't know what happened. Looks more like he was off the
chart for 3 years and basically let the account die.

You get banned for serious infractions that have more to do
with adsense placement and clicks.

But getting an account and never using it it for 3 years...does not
sound reasonable. Probably even more so to google.
