Adsense for Search Problem

Hello Everyone,

I recently decided to try using Adsense for search on my blog. At first I tried to set it up with the option 'Open results within my own site' but I couldn't get this working. Therefore, I settled for the option 'Open results on Google in the same window'. This time the search is working but the Adsense ads are not displaying and also the custom logo I selected is not displaying. I've had the search box up for a little over 7 days now and its status within my Adsense 'Manage Ads' screen has change to inactive.

Does anyone know why this would be happening? I've got normal Adsense ads on my blog and they are functioning just fine. It's only the search I'm having problems with. Any help would be much appreciated.

Oh yeah. The link to my blog is The Free Fitness Tips Blog | Free, Impartial Fitness Advice and the Google search box is in the right hand side bar.

  I've checked that page and there's not much there. It says I have no blocked URLs but nothing else. Is there anything I should be looking for?

  Thanks for all your help so far dburke. The Google explanation reads:
  
  "Because AdSense for search results pages display ads drawn from our pool of AdWords advertisers, the search results pages occasionally may not show ads when no related AdWords ads are available. However, the number of advertisers in the AdWords programme is continually growing, so ads for that query may become available in the future."
  
  But it doesn't generate ads for any of my queries. Even really generic terms such as "fitness". Also this does not explain why the custom image I selected is not appearing.
  
  Any other idea?
