Hi. I hope someone can enlight me on this. I am doing keywor research. My main keyphrase shows the following data for the US local searches: Broad: 18100 Phrase: 210 Exact: 110 Is it a enough search volume to target for and Adsense site? Can someone explain to me why there is the huge difference? Thanks |

Here is a video that shows current keyword research tricks that can help you. It is all free and will help a lot. I have used these exact methods to get a long list of keywords for my blogs. It is keyword research for a video course, but that does not matter a bit. The real time look at the google keyword tool and what to look for will help. | No, that Exact: 110 does not matter If your traffic is from a niche forum. One of my Adsense sites earns steady $$ per month from a niche forum that I don't own. Google keyword tool says no search per month for my keywords, that's based on the SERPs. I still make money from a hobby niche that I enjoy regardless If Google thinks it's a popular set of keywords or not. The keyword depends on how you plan on driving traffic (forums, serp, etc...) My point is, If a forum already exist on the net that shows up in Google SERPs for the same keyword, chances are very good you can monetize that forum traffic & bypass Google SERPs. Actually you can monetize any forum traffic, as long as the forum is active. |

Thanks for your replies. Very helpful! @Yukon: sorry, English is not my first language. Are you telling me to go for the keyword phrase? |

That's just a rough estimate that 110 people search that exact phrase in google per month. 110 divided by 30, you're looking at 3.6 visitors a day searching. If you're looking for FREE organic traffic, then aim for a higher number. Just remember this is all just based off organic traffic without you having to promote or advertise at all.

You should go to the KeyWordAcademy and have a look at their free content. It should allow you to ballpark the potential of your keywords...

Yeah, exact has nothing to do with anything but google, but as someone else said, that is a pretty low number. I try to shoot for 1k+, but thats just my outlook.
