Default Yahoo Site Explorer Results ... HELP!!

When I put my site into yahoo site explorer, the inlinks are fine and building gradually as I build more backinks, but the tab that you click on to see the pages of your site that are indexed - About 5 days about I had 4 pages indexed, yesterday it went down to 3 and today only 2 are showing up!!

Why is this happening? I dont want anymore to vanish!!

How do I get other pages indexed to appear here?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Links vanishing?? hmm make sure you don't have a nofollow in these pages meta tags and check your robot file doesn't skip these pages.

What else, hmm, it could be a few other things...

Take care,

Yahoo is strange really. Your concern should really only be with google and bing for yahoo is hardly one of the top dogs anymore. The problem might be with the content itself. Yahoo has a really good algorithm that eliminates alot of junk and or duplicate content. So if you created your pages off of plr with out spinning them this could be the reason. It may also just be like google does on new sites. They start to index the pages then start removing them just to reindex them again in a few days.

I hope it is just google playing its games. I havent created pages off PLR, so I dont think it is that.

How would I get google to index pages?

Also, how do I check my robot isnt missing these pages?!

I take it you have a google account. Just add the webmasters tools to your available tools and submit your sitemap or sitmaps in some cases. It may take them a few days to pick up the pages but you can change the settings so that they crawl your site more often in the settings crawl rate slider.

Did you create a robots text. If so it will be on your server with the name robots.txt just look at it to see if it is excluding any pages. If you never created a robots txt file then you can create one in googles webmasters tools and upload it to your site.

Best of luck hope this helps.

Did you say indexed pages vanishing or "inlinks" dropping!? Two completely different tabs.

I'm going to assume your site is new... Yahoo! just like Google will do this... Add/drop/Add/drop - Unless you're backlinks were coming from YOUR own websites and/or approved articles... It's highly possible if they were some type of comment of post else where that they simply got deleted.

I was doing a little test with a site that doesn't exist (www.scottstesttest.com)

I posted ONE... Yes... ONE comment on an auto-approve blog (you can probably guess which one it is... Look how many links it's given me since LAST SUNDAY! LOL! 140+ BUT... I'll probably get like another hundred backlinks from that blog before they slowly start to drop off... See for yourself! Like I said the domain doesn't exist! I was just trying something!!

Site Explorer - Search Results

CHEERS!

P.s. THIS IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY DO NO SPAM ANY SITES.
