How do you repair a server that has been overloaded with traffic, and how do you pick a server that can handle alot of traffic? I plan on using Host9's hosting service. Please share your thoughts...

Hostnine is good (i always have hostnine coupons up ), i am with them for a long time already. But for your traffic you want AT LEAST a VPS, if not dedicated. (Depends on your traffic). Hostnine, SolarVPS, both have good offers. As for "repairing" a server....there are many ways to optimize apache (very involved)..and if its a wordpress blog there is also a LOT to optimize. (wp supercache etc.) |
