Default MNF so different from Google Keyword Tool

I have Micro Niche Finder but when I put the same keywords into the Google Free Keyword Tool, the results are vastly different. Can I rely on MNF or just forget it? Thanks.

You can rely on MNF, are they both set to the same category? i.e. are they both set to 'exact'?

Google Keyword Tools is the data source of MNF, hence the results can not be different. Are you sure you have selected the same match types, or are analyzing data for the same country? You can change this from the "Chane your "Search Engine Courtesy Settings" Tab

Okay, I checked and had broad in Google and exact in MNF. However, Google shows competition high and MNF lists SOC as quite low.

I keep hearing praise for MNF. but it just keeps kicking my biscuits. I switched over to Market Samurai and love it. Plus I think their tutorials are better. Perhaps I'm just on a different frequency.

And what is the difference between exact and phrase? It is the exact same words but different values.

Another interesting thing: my husband and I are both running MNF at the same time and get different stats. We just both updated our programs yesterday so they should be the same. I am confused.

If you are searching for the keywords "invisible unicorn"

Exact = "invisible unicorn"

Exact means the words exactly only.

Phrase = best "invisible unicorn"
or can be = "invisible unicorn" now
or even = best "invisible unicorn" now

Phrase includes sentences with words added in front or at the end of the exact words (or both). The result for phrase includes all the different combination with the exact words

This is how I understand it...

Im no longer use MNF but, isnt it the SOC is a custom competition analysis of MNF? And not really the advertisers competition of adwords tool?
