Communicating with Adsense

How easy do you find the Google adsense team to contact? Have you been banned and found them hard to get hold of as to why you have been banned (No I've not been).
I think it would be good for people to share their experiences here. I hear so much crap said about them but it would be good for people to expand and share a bit more about how they get on with adsense

I've a very bad experience with the adsense and was banned in my early days. I tried hard to get my ban lifted but all went in vain. The Google contact team was not very supporting. Now, I'm very cautious about it and got success.
