I think you should try to use google adword keyword tool.

Is a keyword research tool!

Then look for a keyword w/c is not too competitive.

Make it your domain title.

I agree and disagree. Since your site is overall covering dog training your need to refine your keywords. i.e. what you have done with your domain name, dog training obedience. Dog training online, dog training with clickers, dog training for working dogs etc etc.

Then build your meta description as such

"Dog training can be a great experience for the whole family using dog training with clickers or training your family working dog."

Its clearly not perfect, but you get the idea. Use that description with your home page ONLY.

When you create a separate page for each of your articles give each of those pages a more specific meta description.

"Dog training with clickers is an excellent way to obtain the results your are looking for with your troublesome four footed friend."

All in all just remember, keep it below 140 characters
