well to avoid keywords stuffing, it is advisable to only use 3-5 keywords per article.

I USE the keyword once in the title, once in the first sentence or paragraph, one to two times in the body (depending on how long the article is), and once in the last paragraph. I BOLD the keyword only once, the first time it is used, in the first sentence or paragraph of the article.

Bolding the keyword throughout the article is just unnatural. If you were to use CAPS right through the article, it would be same as yelling at the readers.

Bold, italics, underline etc are just ways to show the important keywords or synonyms of the keywords. If overdone, it becomes overkill and it can raise a flag.

As long as the content reads well and looks and reads natural, that is what matters.

It is not necessary to make bold your keywords as many times as it appears in the web page, rather than if the content is unique or fresh content. In addition you can make use of the keyword bold in the main title of the web page or else you can make bold maximum 2 times if your keyword repeated for 5 times. You can also provide link from the web page to another page, which also adds weight-age in SEO and ranking
