So I've been trying to figure out what is going on in Yahoo and Bing with their listings of a client's website, I'm stumped. Here's the situation: The website is micpa.com, and when it shows up in the Yahoo and Bing serps, the link to the site is broken. The page is not opened correctly when I click on it because it is trying to open the url address: micpa.com/&vm=r. I don't know why that "/&vm=r" is added to the address when you click on the listing, but that is what is causing the page to not load. Now, this problem does not occur in the Google search results, it is opening the right page. I've also noticed that the problem doesn't occur on every computer, some open the web address correctly, some include the "/&vm=r" extension which causes the error. I've also tested in FF, safari and IE and there is no difference in the result based on the web browser. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem and how I could go about fixing it? I'm stumped. If you want to test it, type "mcclure inserra" into yahoo or bing and that should bring up the result. Thanks for your input! |
