Adsense: Follow me with .info authority site

I am not sure if we can call this as an authority site but i think is. This time, I am going to use .info domain because this website will provide 100% information. Niche is hotels (we already know that hotels are doing good with adsense)


1. Registered domain (hotelsinmanila.info) last Jan 30 but started developing it today.
2. Feb 2 - installed wordpress + theme, post 3 articles.
3. Installed all necessary seo plugins (all in one seo, google xml sitemap)
4. Added to google webmaster tools and google analytics
5. No promotion yet other than 5 forum signatures (including WF)

Since my target is to list all Philippine hotels found on the web, there would be around 1600 articles (hotels) so I am going to outsource my content at cyberhubonline.com for $1.5 per 250-words hotel profile articles.

Once the site started earning (maybe after 2 weeks), I will transfer my outsourcing needs to my fellow countrymen writers who knows local hotels better.

If you want to follow this thread, bookmark it. Or you can do the same thing with your own authority site. I will post daily updates. My target is so big that I want to outrank Tripadvisor.com in Philippine hotel pages available in their website. I will outsource only the content but I will apply all my knowledge in SEO on this website....

Good stuff. I think the trouble in with most Adsense sites is that people create content on the subjects but the vast majority of people are not looking for information but to buy the product or something else like reviews of actual products. This subject will perhaps be different from the road most people take.

I selected my content to be between 250 to 300 words because most of these hotels doesn't have their own websites and it's pretty hard to get information other than address, number of rooms, contact. As much as possible, I don't want my writers to stuck on this problem so I requested lesser number of words... This is actually my personal challenge to my SEO capability. I ranked a lot of sites before until now but it seems I am not really profiting because they are just niche sites and have limited keywords. Now I will try my luck on this with corresponding action.....

Has the right stuff, a good laser targeted niche and, as you said, content that is not readily available.

While that content gets outsourced I recommend you work on off page SEO, link building, for your root domain beyond just those 5 links.

good luck with the project!!.
I myself am currently building a Hotel web with adsense for hotels in ibiza, i know that there are many already but as i live here it makes sense for my local knowledge. i have 1 question for you, how do we go about the legalities of doing this. Are we simply allowed to build information on the hotels without the owners consent or is it just a matter of adding the Legal notice & Privacy policy to the pages??

Good luck with this. I am a fan of adsense authority sites.

I do however have serious doubts about making any money in just a couple of weeks unless you are savvy enough with SEO to get on the first page of Google results for some good traffic keywords in a hurry.

It will probably take some time to get real traffic. Please keep us posted of your progress.

And hopefully the thread does not get the axe. I heard somewhere that the "follow my progress" threads get moderated out pretty often because they often get abandoned and don't provide conclusions.
