You can do Directory Submission as long as there's a list. But always make sure to submit on directories which is indexed by Google and has a high PR and reputation from Google itself.

Aren't directories not such a great way of getting backlinks anymore? Except if you are mainly going after the referral traffic only...

You can do directory submission as long as you want. There are millions of directory submission sites in the internet.

I've found their value to be worthless...pay for a dir.yahoo submission, and apply to dmoz...

I can do till the list end.However nowadays I dont like this directory submission anymore I think they have lost their effectiveness.Linkwheel is more effective nowadays.

I still get good results from directory submissions. The trick is to target numerour niche keywords that are easy to get good rankings for. It takes some time for the links to get indexed because they're usually quite deep in the directory, but given time I do always see results.

I can highly recommend SubmitEaze for directory submission. It also does article submission too, so you basically get two tools in one, and both are certainly as good as or better (IMO) than anything else on the market

good point jonny. I dont think anyone should really on just one method of link building for their SEO, and the same applies to directory submissions. But should directory submission be included in an SEO campaign? abso****inlutely
