SEO - What's missing in the software tools available?

I have a meeting later today with a software coder. One of the things we will be discussing is tools for SEO.

1. Is there anything missing from the currently available range, where automation could make your SEO easier?

2. Are there any tools that you'd like to see improved on, features added etc?

3. Is there anything that's just too damned expensive that we might be able to find a cheaper way to emulate results?

1. There are a lot of tools, what's needed is better scheduling to remove time frame footprint

2. All of the tools at the moment can be improved 100% -> saying this as a coder

3. If you find a mathematician to write an algo with some sick randomization that promises a lot, and OCR solving, decaptcher can cost a lot!
