Typical Price of a Spun Article

I would like to know the average or typical price you guys pay for a "good" spun article? -

500 word article - $

1000 word article - $

As of right now I am looking for writers on Odesk.. does anyone else have a good suggestion?

What we charge our clients for a spinned submission is $50~ which includes writing + spinning 1500 times + submissions
Considering i were to only spin the article (ours is 500 words~) I'd be happy charging anywhere between 5-8$ per article

I'm not sure there is a "typical" answer to this question. You can find very inexpensive answers which have terrible grammar or you can pay a much greater price for a well formed article. The point to keep in mind is that whatever you put out on the market is the image that you are branding to the world. Once released changing that image can become extremely difficult. Therefore, measuring cost against quality is important when considering how you will be promoted on the Web.

usually before i spin the article... i translate first with google translate 2 timeas to another language..... then i spin the article........
is it safe... to do this...?
