I'm looking to purchase a domain name that has PR4 and listed in DMOZ, age 11 but when I check for its backlinks it only has around 100 backlinks, can this be a fake PR and just 301 redirect? Please advise. Thank you!

You can have different tests on the domain using freely available tools for analysis and the best is just to Google. Checkout some domain tools where the IP resolves and which IP is pointed in DNS record etc. | |

I know there is many PR checker tools but you know when a person does 301 redirect then when he removes it it will have PR0 again, so I need to know a secure way to find out whether pr is valid fake or not.
