Default Need some advice on Backling from the veterans

I have three sites up now and I need to start trying to get my keywords to rank higher. I have been doing comments on blogs, setting up profiles on forums, and writing articles and submitting them. I wanted to see if I could get some advice from the veterans what they did when they first started out with trying to rank keywords? What courses or articles did they read? I am still new to all this and trying to figure it out, so if anyone has any good advice I would appreciate it.

Angela and Paul's backlink service is good. They email you a list of high PR websites each month that you can get links from. I use to use both of them and do all the work manually.

If you don't want to do it, you can hire one of the many people offering a link building service in the "warriors for hire" section. I always do this on my new sites... pay someone $30-$45 for a 50-100 quality backlinks, and a lot of times that's all I need for a page one ranking.

What is that? I have never heard of it. Anyways I think what you are doing so far is the right thing to do. So what is the problem aren't you ranking high for your keywords yet?

Well give it some time and some more work and I think you will just be fine.

There are a ton of different theories floating around about the correct way to backlink that you could devote an entire volume of books to. Michelle from Passive Income Online is offering a great guide on how she backlinks for signing up to her list (don't worry, she doesn't market anything aggressively on her list, she just keeps everyone updated on her income and business plans). Its a great read for a beginner.

There are also the backlinks forum > Backlinks Forum

I have no affiliation with either one of the parties mentioned above.

edit: Angelas and Pauls backlinks are great, but you'll find that because everyone receives there packet on the same day that many of the websites close off registration (because these packets are very popular). If you want to go this route I recommend using Joe's backlink packets (from warrior Joe118). Do a search in the WSO section. I also suggest hiring someone to do it for you.

If you want to go the automatic route, there are a few great programs like sick submitter, article marketing robot and SEO Link Robot by warrior Traffic Mystic (I think that's right), also known as Steve Hawkins. SEOLR is basically like SENUKE but without the (very high) monthly payment.

Perform all the methods in SEO (do not include black hat) like Directory submission, article submission, blog commenting, social bookmarking and many more. You can learn it by just asking in forums or surfing the net. Always remember that to get a good quality backlinks, you have to do this manually.
