I would like to switch hosting company. My site currently has about 500 backlinks. Will switching hosts have any negative impact on SEO? Also, if i stay with the same host but switch from HTML prepackaged hosting package to PHP based hosting will that have any negative impact on SEO? |

Under most circumstances, changing hosts shouldn't affect your SEO at all. There are some situations where a problem could occur: - The new host has performance issues & your site suffers downtime or frequent inaccessibility. - The IP you are using on the new host may have been flagged in the past. - You change your site coding/URLs when you move hosting. We have moved hosting many times and seen no problems. In some cases, the increased reliability & performance resulted in improved SEO. |
