Well, it depends on how important your post to that particular blog is. If you just posted a spammy content, well it will only be deleted.

Blog commenting is useful if you want to build realistic backlinks. Commenting on related blogs with a relevant response can be a sure way to get a high PR backlink. You will know when you write the comment that the webmaster simply has to accept your comment.

Blog commenting is good when it comes to getting backlinks. But leaving spammy posts is not good. Always remember the quality of your post and its relevancy.
