Does Yahoo Answers help in link building?

What do you say guys?
I read that it is one of the many ways there is to build backlinks but does that really help? I can't find a way to post a link with anchor text so it's just a link as an address (http), so - with no anchor text but yet a link as an address link to my site, will this help in the SERPS? As for traffic not so sure I'll get from there, mostly go for Google and Press Release when I look for traffic.

Ideas?

Yahoo Answers is very effective if you add lot of value by way of your answers to the question asked.

You have to transcend several levels (accumulate points) before your link will start appearing in your answers. For this you have to answer several questions.

You have to be extremely careful not to overdo the links part in your answers as it can be deleted. They are very strict about it.

Yahoo Answer is very effective for your backlinks...It's increase your website traffic and also increase your website backlinks.Do properly and give effective answers.

Yahoo answers links are no follow. So you will not get any page rank passed on to your link. But it's great for getting direct visitors.

Yahoo answers does not help i link building as the link are no follow. But it does help in getting the traffic. But don't overdo it as they will ban your ip.

Links that you put into your yahoo answers are indeed nofollow so there's not much help there when it comes to SE rankings and PR. But it's still valuable for direct traffic, especially if the page you are linking to contains or complements the (best) answer to the particular question.

Using Yahoo Answers in link building is good but it often takes time to put a link back to your site. They say that, you cannot put any links until you've reached Level 2...

Using yahoo answer is good in getting backlinks, but it will always depend on the content of your answer. Be sure that you have a good information related to the question.
