Buying Facebook status?

Hi,

Is buying facebook status legal? Buying facebook status means if I pay a facebook user who has a lot of friends to promote my website into his/her facebook wall/status.

What if I pay to promote my facebook business page, will that be legal?

Lol, I don't offer this service, I'm actually looking to buy some status if it's legal.

Many website do this types of promotion..Recently i seen some website.Companies purchase share status and share her promotion on Facebook Wall.

I know a friend who did it. It's kind of like the equivalent of having a number of likes that don't mean anything as the people probably aren't going to be interested in your product or service anyways and won't buy anything. Try Fiverr.

Actually I have nothing to sell. I need people to know about my site. My site is a local quiz contest site. Where people participate in quiz and win cash prizes. So nothing to sell, but I need them to know about my site. I already have 5000+ members, But I have a target of 100,000 . Facebook is the prime place where I can find my local people (local means the whole country). I have run ads on face book which gave good sign-ups but I'm looking for cheaper and more affective way if possible.

One of the things on facebook that tells the world what they are thinking at this time. Most of the time is full of a bunch of whiners garbage and spoiled child emo teens who love their cell phones more than God. And occasionally a hangover or a college assignment hard rights to complain that you can read pages 349-427 in your history book. Big deal.

Thanks for the suggestion, but Twitter is not big and popular like facebook.
