On the subject of Adsense, I wanted to take advantage of some small Adsense income from writing articles on Snipsly Xomba etc. Snipsly said I could sign up using their URL. They even had a form on their site to get an account. Google on the other hand did not agree and turned me down. Looking on the Google site at the requirements to get an Adsense account, it would appear that you have to have a website with a number of pages to even be considered. Anyone else had problems getting an Adsense account. |

I have heard that the best way to get an adsense account is to sign up for blogger.com, this is what I did and it worked, it only took me a couple of mins to do and is free so you could try that out. I don't understand why google make it so hard, since having my computer updated I can't even get into my adsense account as it keeps saying I have to delete all my cookies and put the security of my computer down to the lowest setting which I am not willing to do, I have had viruses when my computer is at it's highest setting! Anyway I got a bit off the point there, but try getting a blogger.com account, that should work.

It happened to me, just that i am waiting for more than 7 days to get approved, but i did not receive any message, and when i try to login to my account, it says that my application is currently in review, and i am waiting for more than a week. Does this happened to anyone else?

Yes, it does seem to take them a while to review your application, then in my case they turned me down.

It can take upto two weeks to get your account, although you can get approved in 48 hours. I am as we speak putting together an ebook on this very subject which will also cover issues such as not getting banned, or what to do if you have been banned. Affiliates wanted for this book! Please note though as I'm not at 50 posts yet I can't reply to PM's as yet

blogspot.com is also a great place to start a blog that will get you approved for adsense. If that doesn't work you can just buy a cheap domain & set up a wordpress site. Thats what I did & got approved in 24 hours.

We do actually have the same experience. I have used my own personal blog for the adsense appication. Yet, I have been dumped twice. Thus, until this moment I am trying to age my site a little longer and then resubmit my application again.

maybe you can give hubpages a try. Can also apply thru the in site application form for adsense. You however need to publish some quality hubs first in order to apply

Ok, here's how to open an Adsense account. Go to blogger.com (google owns it). Open an account and make 5 posts. Must be good original content. Add a pic to each post so it looks nice. Your blog must look professional. In the About section, write something personal telling people who you are and why you started up this blog. You can make up an identity if you want. Google wants to know you're a human. For example, let's say you make a blog about lighting styles. You can say that you're a lighting designer and you can provide your best tips on the blog. You can say that visitors can find you at a local lighting store. Put the adress but don't put the phone number. And you can remove this after you're approved. You just want google to know your human and you have a legitimate reason for starting this blog. Next, make sure you add a Privacy Policy to your blogger blog. Make sure you put the info about the google adsense program in the privacy policy. You can find this by searching for google guidelines. Most Important - If you've already tried opening an adsense account and got rejected, you must open up a brand new gmail account!! If you make a new site and use your previously rejected gmail account to apply, your application will get rejected. Use a fresh gmail address when making your blogger blog. And use it for your new adsense account. Then apply using your blogger blog and you will get accepted within a week. Usually 1-4 days. Good luck |

Hi Folks, I too have adsense related problem. Got approved last year using blogger site. Site inactive for 8 month. Now have a new website, but unable to access my adsense account. I get the following messages: "Account Not Active An AdSense account does not exist for this login, as it is associated with an unapproved application. For more information about your application, please review the message we sent to the email address you provided with your application.". I did not receive any message about this problem to my email, so don't know what the are on about. I have been trying to contact google through adsense forum for months, but no joy. What should i do next to resolve this problem? Thanks for your help. |

Put up a blog on a free hosting. Write 10 articles.Either write them yourself or outsource. Content has to be unique. Make sure you have a privacy policy and contact page. Signup. Wait around 1-2 months. In the mean time write some more posts to show google's reviewer it's not a blog made solely for adsense. |

I see all of you is mostly using blogger to get adsense account. Let me tell you my way... For creating adsense account i allways use HubPages (this was tested about 12 times now). All you need to do here is register at HubPages, edit your data and publish one good quality, original article. Make it look nice and informative. After that is done just simply apply for adsense over hubpages. It looks like google like hubpages, i got most of accounts approved in less then 24 hrs. |

I have an account using blogger.com but I think I signed up first with Squidoo...I can't quite remember. I do have one though and I don't have a website - just a couple of blogs.

I can help with people looking for ad sense style ads with a more personal touch with a simplified approval process. Feel free to drop me a note at kriggs [at] Lijit dot com if you're looking for ad sense alternatives. |
