|  Page Speed Score and SEO?
Does Page Speed Score contribute to the points Google Award your site for in the search engine rankings? - I have page scores of around 70 - 80 (a lot of this being JavaScript which I can't improve) but I'm thinking of minifying all my CSS and JavaScript to improve the Page Speed Score - but if it's not going to make a difference then I won't bother (since I'll be doing it for over 20 corporate websites). How can you measure you speed page scores, and I'm referring to the official speed page score from Google?

Thank you Fernando. I'm using YSlow in conjunction with FireBug on Firefox, is that score the same with the Google Speed Score? i'm Getting 76, so i guess it's pretty alright.

Google Page Speed is a Firefox extension that allows you to identify technical issues that affect the average download time for the site. Google Page Speed Analysis using a Firefox browser, a measure of site is optimized in terms of loading time and gives a quantitative measure, known as a "Page Speed" score. This is a note on a scale of 1 to 100 If a site 100 scores, then there is "fully optimized" for fast loading site.

It determine the site if it is well optimized and states the page's performance when the guest visits the page.

Google Page Speed Score if you have been to your site is still very fully speed. Like every other tool-this excellent measurement or slow or fast loading Web site may not be a true indicator.
