For me - I concentrate on two things: Adding more RELEVENT content almost on a daily basis. Backlinking from article directories and web 2.0 props like hubpages and squidoo |

The same as it has always been.. By the looks of things you are already doing it. Try guest blog authoring in exchange for backlink. Press releases are still an underused technique. By far the best way though is ensuring you content offers your niche something of value. The buzz this can generate can make your content truly viral. If your niche is origami, it could be as simple as creating a short 5 minute video on how to make origami swans for childrens parties. Or perhaps, writing an article on why pink is the new black if your niche is interior design. The only way to know what to create is research, research, research.. Learn this technique and you really are on the right road to high ranking and income. |

As important as backlinks are, onpage SEO is key. Think about if someone is going to buy a car - you can have hundreds of people telling you "this" car is the one to buy - it is great, (keep in mind google as the buyer) but once the buyer checks out the car and takes it for a test drive - if it drives like crap, stinks on the inside and the buyer doesn't dig it, they won't care how many people say it's the greatest car ever they aren't going to give it any love.
