Ezine allows it in the bottom half of the article body last time I checked.

The reason why I preferred articles that do this is because I like my articles when they are harvested by autoblogs... I am getting backlinks

i think article alley no longer allows anchor text in the article body.

It is better to place out site links in the author section while we submit for article in other article directories.

It is good if we place our link in the article content.

Their Is several Artical Directories that all links in body section .Only popular directories like Ezine don't accept links in Content

Also look into sites like DocStoc and Scribd. They are more liberal in terms of allowing many links in the body. I describe these in my backlinking guide here.
