Default Google Slapped

Hi
I’ve just launched my first CB info product and I tried to start generating traffic but Google adwords have slapped me. Apparently I’m in breach of their Landing Page and Site Policies. My site is a reputable stocks and options training course. (tradeprosecrets .com)

Also within 24 hours on being live on Clickbank I had loads of emails from review sites wanting to promote which gave me a boost. No Sales though. I’m not sure the best approach to traffic now that the Internet Gods have slapped me?

Any suggestions / advice would be appreciated. I can only offer you some good karma in return.

Thanks

Did they give you more info than just that you breached their landing page policy? What was your quality score like? I can only remember iframing affiliates got slapped or those doing something fishy with display vs. landingpage URL but it's probably because of your direct salesletter style and the manual approval team didn't like what they see.

As for traffic, adwords isn't the only thing you could get customers from You should look into banner ads, media buys (there are some cheap but good ad networks out there), you could also buy soloads on other people's email lists, definitely grab affiliates though because once you have a steady amount of sales flowing in from them you won't have to worry anymore about driving traffic yourself.

It may be possible to rebuild the site and have your suspension lifted, you will need to add all required support pages (if not done so) about us contact us, privacy, terms etc

And you will need to drop all of the hype of the page (anything that suggests any one can do it) / every player wins a prize type thing

I would also suggest a section for articles and or a blog as well, have all of that in play then re submit and it may stand a chance.

best of luck

Eliminate the ClickBank link. Adwords direct to pages with a ClickBank sales link is just asking to have your Adwords account banned.

Possible Ideas:

- Add a solid buffer before ClickBank by using Amember or some other script so Google can never, ever see the ClickBank link. IMHO this is a preferred approach.

- Add a secondary sales page so the ClickBank link is not on your landing page.

- Hide the ClickBank link from Google. This is not a redirect that Google will follow, but using a Javacript file for the link and then use your robots.txt to prevent Google from accessing the file.

- Don't promote your product using Adwords. You're already on very thin ice.

- Don't assume what you think is "reputable" is what Google considers "reputable." No privacy policy. No real terms of use.

15 minutes a day to make guaranteed money no matter what the stock market does. No proof. No credibility. Don't be offended, but in my view this is not reputable. You're smarter than Goldman Sachs and big companies with super companies with their trading "systems"? For just $27? The silver lining is that Google may be trying to save you from a much bigger legal problem down the road.

How, exactly, is that going to help OP's adwords campaign?

If you are going to use Adwords to marketing your Clickbank product you need to do so by going in the Back door. Adwords to Clickbank sales letter died 2 years ago. Think of ways to collect email addresses first, without your info product. Build a blog and offer a free video series on it. I love Eben Pagan's blog optin at Official Double Your Dating | David DeAngelo's Double Your Dating. Perfect example of being Google compliant.

It is still workable to run straight to a clickbank page with adwords, what does not work is the lack of support pages, lack of content and the over hype presented by most clickbank products. and many many fall down here, that said its safer to avoid than tempt fate, but it can be done.
