Website and SEO Conflict ?

I'm hoping someone can offer advice.

I recently built a WP website for a client for his "Self Storage" Business.

The Domain Name is the exact same as the most popular search term ie, www.selfstorage+city.com

I have completed On Page SEO for the main storage search terms.
It is in a small city and has very little competion.

My client also owns an Insurance Co and wanted me to add insurance text content, plus an quote enquiry form, within the pages of the storage website.

Initialy after being indexed by Google the website showed up on page One (1), position Six (6).

After one week the website is now ranking 34 (page 4)?

I am wondering if this drop in rankings might be due to the fact the 80% of the text content in the web pages are relating to Insurance?

Anyone have any ideas?

Lots of cases of google demoting a page (at least temporarily) due to change in content, link structure, or site structure. It's very much a catch 22 that many people experience since about the Mayday update last year. Very frustrating for many.
