Hi, I am a newbee with Adsense. I wanted to start a Web Directory and wanted to know something about the Ad placement. I have seen many directories have placed their Google ads just between the areas where a user usually clicks like between "accepting policy" button and "Submit" button and most of the time user clicks on the ads by mistake, which I think will increase the CTR and the income of that person. So is it illegal or somehow against any kind of policy of Google Adsense? |

It sounds like something that can get your account banned. It would be easier to tell you if you give us the link.

Its Ok as long as they do not manually review your site, if you are looking for long term income from google then do not do it, if you want to try your luck and would not be bothered if google bans you then may be you can try, any AD placement that is placed in a way that the user intends to click some link and ends up clicking google links is against their TOS. So if you are looking for long term income from google do not do this in any case there are proper ways of placing ads that can help you get good ctr , you can surf the warriror forum itself for such posts.
