If you don't have analytics installed, check your server log files e.g. if your site has cPanel, click on the AWstats icon for a log analysis. If you don't have cPanel, you can often find and download your log files using FTP You can download Weblog Expert Lite free at WebLog Expert Download It will analyze the downloaded logfiles showing you keywords and much more... It will show you which keywords are actually bringing you traffic - some of which you may not have specifically targeted. I have often found sites ranking for surprise keywords and keyword combinations which were not intended. Some of these unintended rankings can be capitalised upon... K |

If you want detailed view about where your site is ranking and in which country/how much traffic coming for any specific keyword then you must use Google Webmaster Tools. If you don't to involve Google then you can check your ranking from this site as well: SEO Keyword Tools for Keyword Research and Rank Tracking You can check your competitors ranking as well But sometimes its data is not updated. Thanks |

Personally, I use keyrow.com if i want to get a rough idea of the keywords. This site is not powerful or anything but it gives me what i need. If a site is established, it is easier to detect ranking keywords. Visit the site, type in your website, search and it will return all the keywords the site is ranking for. |

You can also use Google Analytics to see what keywords you're ranking for and then also go to: 1. content 2. top content and then click on the most entered page 3. then click on "entrance keywords" That will show you all of the keywords people have used to come into your site. |

Log into Google Analytics and Go to > Traffic Sources > Search Engines > Choose a search Engine (ex. Google). For more advanced data and tracking, you can export the above keyword list from your GA account and save it as a .CSV file. then import it into the free Rank Tracker tool by linkassistant.com Neil D |
