Hello, I was just wondering if having a exit pop-up on my wordpress blog will hurt my site rankings with Google?

Also just in general what is your opinion on having exit pop-ups on wordpress blogs? Do you find it annoying or helpful? Any insight would be helpful, thanks!

It's annoying, not helpful. Please, for the sake of your viewers, don't go this route. Try to draw them in with the content and layout while they are on the page, not when they try to leave.

On the contrary, i think exit pop-ups, properly set up so as not to be annoying and obviously only at the point of exit, unlike other pop-ups which disturbs before content is perused, is most useful.

I have found it to be a great list builder and have even recorded some conversions/sales through it.
