submit to my blog after submitting to ezine articles?

Hi Guys. I submitted 2 articles to ezine articles yesterday, is it ok to submit these to my blog now?

I don't want to get a slap on the wrist this early in the game from ezine articles.

I'm trying to get my article rank up to 10.

You could have posted them to your site first. Which is what eza actually tells you to do. If the articles are not approved yet on eza it is a really good idea to get them on your site before they do get approved.

When ever I make any post to my blog it always goes out to eza after it is indexed which I can normally submit it to eza that day. Since my site now gets indexed within a few hours after every post I make to it.

Hi,

First of all, thanks to members like alexa and tpw i have learnt that you can very well post your articles on your site as well as on ezine articles....
I have heard that you need to get your articles indexed in your site first and then you can submit it to directories, as long as YOU OWN THE RIGHTS to the article i.e: you wrote it yourself/outsourced it.

P.S : I wouldnt focus too much on seo, you want to write content that other sites would want to publish (i.e: your resource box will still be there, and that site will get you more traffic also a good backlink) I myself wrote 5 articles today, and one of it got syndicated to a PR 4 site. i got like 50 visitors today, just because of that.

Anyways that was just my opinion,

Yes you can submit it to your blog and update your site map and send it to google. I think there is a plugin that does that I just happen to forget the name now but i will check and tell you later if nobody does before.

that way google can easily and quickly indexed the new article.

Umm... True..But he can very well post his article to his site FIRST, get it indexed, then submit it to article directories like EZA. As long as the article was written by him, and he owns the right to it, he can distribute it anywhere he want's (ITS HIS ARTICLE)

Yes it is, but the problem here is where should it be posted first.

If you first post it or submit it to EA before going to post it on your blog that is after it has already been indexed in the EA directory then google is simply going to ignore your article consider it duplicate content.

But if you post it on your blog first then you get all the credits for it. That is the issue.

Of course nobody is disagreeing with that. But the issue is he has already submitted the article to EA. And if EA accepts it and it get indexed in their directory before it is on his blog then google will see him as the one who scrapped the article fro EA not the contrary. That is where the problem lies.

umm.. Its his article... i dont see why its duplicate content unless he COPIED IT, which is hopefully not the case here.

It takes EA 7 days(approximately) to approve articles. I think he could very well do it, if not, at least now he knows, site first - eza second.
