tracking links from a special report

Hi,

I've just written a special report and wanted to track the link to my web site, does anyone know if there's a special code that i need to put after my url?

That entirely depends on your tracking software. Which one are you using to track? Any decent tracking tool allows you to append unique tracking ID's to every of your links.

I'm not using anything yet. I thought that i was able just to add something at the end, obviously not. What's the best software?

You can use Google Analytics to do the tracking:

How do I tag my links? - Analytics Help

Use the URL builder to generate a URL that will let you
track all traffic that results from your report link:

Tool: URL Builder - Analytics Help

If you want simplicity you can use an url shortening service like bit.ly .
But of course you don't get all the extra stuff that you get with Google Analytics like segmentation, goals etc.
