Default Google Has Given Me $160 Credit - What Next?

Google sent me a code for $160 (£100) to start using Adwords again. I lost my shirt with PPC a while ago and haven't been able to go back to it since.

I'm able to generate keyword suggestions people are using to search for stuff, so that wouldn't be a problem but I need some help getting started again.

My vaugest idea is to pick a niche (from Clickbank, or Amazon), find out the competition using a keyword tool, free or other, send the click to a landing page? Or direct to the product/service.

What would be the correct way to promote on Adwords?

My main PC is out of action so I can't use some specialist software that would help so I need to go about it in a basic way but I want to make money using this credit.

Warriors it would be great for help/advice on how to go forward with this. I have until the 28 February to use the credit so I don't have a lot of time, but I do want to take action to finally make some money (if only for a short period of time).

What do I do?

Thanks in advance.

Brian

The vouchers are a dime a dozen.

If you are not prepared to lose your shirt again, best thing is to toss it
in the dustbin.

the "just picking a clickbank product and directing the ad to their sales page" would pretty much be a sure fire way to lose your adword account. Google has disabled many adword accts lately for poor landing pages or direct affilate purposes. you asked for "helpful suggestions" Paulgl actually did, if you don't know how to properly use adwords, you can burn thru that "free" money and into some of your own $$ in a very short time. Even before you notice and go to hit the "stop campaign" button.
and don't worry if you don't use this coupon in time, there will always be another one coming.

There's a good deal!

Did you know any new user can get a $75 voucher?
https://services.google.com/fb/forms/adwordscoupon/

I think that's been mentioned before.

Do you live in a large city with a large library with a large rack of
magazines? Check out the computer or business mags. Google
includes a free adwords voucher in many of them.

Many hosts will give them away free as well.
