Cool little google tool for keyword research

I know it's been around for a minute, but I just discovered today something called the wonder wheel from google. It's just a nice tool to help discover new keywords and potential domains to buy.

Here's how it works.

Do a regular search in google, say a category defining keyword like "basketball shoes"

Look on the left where it says "more search tools" and click wonder wheel.

What you get is a visual graph of related keywords that you will be able to use to find sub niches. Click on the related keywords for it to expand to more keywords, all while keeping the main keyword in view.

One little strategy you can do is take some of the related keywords and do a quick domain search using instantdomainsearch.com and look for available domains with exact keyword matches. These can turn into great amazon affiliate websites, especially if the keyword is intuitive for specific products.

Yea the wonder wheel is a neat little visual aid. It gives you LSI keywords that you can include in your posts to increase relevance.
