Default Can anyone answer this Q about Google page positions?

Can anyone tell me if they have experienced or know anything about this.

I have a number of sites...wordpress mainly.

If I check the position on Google on one computer they are on page one or page two...on another computer they come up on lower pages like 4 or 5. I then looked at if they differ when using either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and they do also differ...I'm not a total newbie but nor a seasoned veteran so have to ask.... is this normal...which one is correct.

The sites are a few months old also so it's not that they are new and they are just normal content driven with some normal backlinking...and they are for local search terms.

Any feedback greatly appreciated....

Cheers, Cre8tor

Google provides personalized search results. If you have already visited a site from a particular browser in a PC it's likely that website will be listed toper when you search next time.
When you are trying it on a new browser it gives the actual rank as the results have not been personalized yet there

He's right, try clearing out your search history, using CC cleaner, and clearing your Google Web History (google the instructions). Or you could just use a rank tracker tool that would be independent of your personal results.
