Hi I posted a new campaign on Google Adwords and after only 30 minutes I got an email saying my site was disapproved as it was in "violation of our Landing Page and Site Policies". I am not sure what part of it is not compliant. I have read through the policies very carefully and made it to what I thought was compliant. I have an about us page, a disclaimer, the product is my own (though on clickbank). The only two areas I can think it that might be a problem are (quotes in italics from google's policies) 1. "If an ad or landing page contains a testimonial promoting atypical results, there must be a clear and conspicuous disclaimer specifying the endorser's unique circumstances or there must be valid third party verification. The disclaimer or verification must appear on the landing page." - i do have a disclaimer for the testimonials but it is on a seperate page. Could this be the problem. I also do say on the landing page that "Your results will depend on what your unique circumstances are" and "it can take 3-4 months for some people" 2. "Websites that promote unrealistic claims or promises with little to no effort (e.g. a weight-loss product that claims a significant amount of weight loss in a very short timeframe or without dieting)" - I do use the word "guaranteed" a lot of times, but in my mind this means if it doesn't work you can get the money back guarantee. But google may think it means guaranteed to work no matter what? - I also say "However, from my personal experience and testimonial and anecdotal feedback you will start feeling positive benefits within days and immediately if you are lucky … within 6-8 weeks people following this program daily, as instructed, are" and "it can take up to 3-4 months for 99% of our clients to achieve the full benefit " - i would have though this was realistically portraying the site? Can someone tell me if I am on the right track? I'm not sure what bit to change. My site is bit dot ly/gE3xGZ (link shortener, and i put the dot there because I don't think i have enough posts to put a real URL in) Thanks Dan |

Once your site is disapproved for Site Policy, all further ads will automatically be disapproved until you contact the AdWords team via email for a manual review. If they like what they see, they will lift the flag that's been placed on your domain. Search the main forum for "Google hates you". |
