How do you all check your SERP ranking?

Hi,

If you are one of those who got hundreds of exact keyword domains and want to check all of those in one go, then I want to tell you that based on my experience, there's no product yet in the market that would allow you to do that easily.

A close one would be SEO spyglass but you would still have to check all your domains in there one by one.

I had to create a small software tool for this in our company. I checked several tools like WEBCeo, SEO Spyglass and some other tool but it just won't check domains and keywords by batch.

However, if what you want is to determine your sites rankings on all keywords you may use this :

Keyword Tool | Keyword Research and Tracking Tool | Keyword Software | Competitive Analysis Tool

It's not an affiliate link nor is it mine, but I find this tool interesting in checking a site.

It shows you all the keywords the site is ranking for without having to input those keywords.

A decent spytool.

I tried their free service before which gave the top 10 keywords for a site I was looking at.

During that time, it was the only thing I needed so I didn't find the need to subscribe..

SEOSpyGlass is a tool to spy on competition and your own sites' backlinks.

The one you need is Ranktracker. (from the same suite)

This actually is a good answer. Chances are if you rank for a keyword and it has any consistent traffic (all that matters, right?) then you will see all your ranking keywords in Google Analytics.

Too often I see people get these tools and start focusing on keywords they think are important--and they're not (no traffic).

If you have done your keywords research and are trying to see how well you are doing on the way to ranking for keywords you're working for--I like RavenTools.

Market Samurai is great, IF you have the time to keep track of your rankings manually each day. I track over 1000 keywords - no way to do it all manually on a consistent basis.

Do you currently use SEscout? It seems less expensive than other similar sites I have found for this kind of service - and if it works as well as you say it does, sounds like a good investment.

Yes I've been using SEscout since their beta and it's by far the best online SERP tracker out there (and the price is unbeatable).

It's a plugin for Firefox that can be completely automated after setting it up, and it exports all your ranking data into CSV format which is very handy. It's also free which is always a big plus to me.

SerpRank is also a good, free tool to use to do this. You can also use the site to automatically generate privacy policy pages for your websites (just in case you wanted to do that, too ).

Market Samurai for one domain with multiple keywords/pages

Scroogle.org if I know the site is in the top 20 and I want a very quick update

These tools might all show something different though for the same site/keyword if checked at the same time so leave some room for error

I used sescout for 3-4 months. It was continually having problems - I don´t think I had a week when I had all the data. It´s not cheap so I cancelled last month as the service was horrendous in July. They said they would give refunds so I asked for one and hey ho never got it.
