am i doing my backlinks wrong?

i have setup 2 sites,both are targetting the same keyword kindof.
Just say my keyword is "buy car"
for every backlinks i am doing i am doing a backlink to "buy car" to my main site which i want number 1 for "buy car" then i also put another backlink for "buy blue car" for my secondary site which i want number 1 for "buy blue car",do you think this will have a negative effect or is it ok,have made over 200 backlinks so far for these

don't link all your backlinks to one page

e.g. 50% uses "buy car" and "buy blue car" link to your index page.

20% to your category pages

others to your subpage.

and vary your backlink anchor text, "buy car" "buy blue car" "where to buy blue car" "buy cheap blue car" and so on

you misunderstood

say when I place my backlinks i always place two links:

buy cat http://www.firstwebsite.com
buy tabby cat http://www.secondwebsite.com

sites are both different domains,just wanted to know if this would clash with search engine results
