If I order (for example) 200 directory submissions Is there any way to do post submission checks ie 200 submissions made 124 were in effect 4 weeks after the initial submission If I tell a client I'll build 200 links....how many do I build/buy when I dont know what % never see the light of day. |

You could ask the company building the links for you to send you a spread sheet with each link submitted and then spot check them. The only other thing to do would be to go to Yahoo Site Explorer and look at the "inlinks" for your domain. This will show you the links that have been approved and indexed. In my experience and that of a few clients, only a handful of those links will stick and those won't be very strong. The backlink companies often create profile pages on obscure forums that mostly will not get indexed and also won't send you traffic. |
