sign up with a blog network VS submit article to article directories, which is more powerful?

Hi guys, I know that it can cost me $67 - $147/m to join a blog network with high PR to get one way backlinks.

But which is more powerful to join that blog network or to to submit articles to article directories like squidoo , etc??

what do you think?

IMHO the high PR blog networks could be a very good investment. I think it really depends on if you want to come off the cash or not as you can submit to the other places free of charge.

I know that I have to invest some money into it, just want to make sure that I will get the best return from my investment. =)

if you want a costs-cutting promotional method, then you'd better go for free submission tasks. That also can give you quality inbound links without having to pay a large amount.

I think Submit to article directory is the best because your link may stay forever and also they are quality link too.
But all the link on blog network can be lost if you stop paying for their service or so, and also they are not really quality backlink like Article directory.

There are unique benefits with each. With article directories, you get a link from a potentially high-PR directory. With networks, you get a homepage contextual backlink. I personally use both for a nice variety.

why dont you go all of them? I would get one way backlink from high pr site and also submit to all directory and SN sites as well
