Bing Allowing Trademarked Terms In PPC Now Google Did Legal Heavy Work?

A new policy goes into effect on March 3rd which now allows trademark bidding again on Yahoo & MSN. I know guys who were doing millions in monthly revenue off of this strategy so time to strap up and forge forward

Just because the SEs allow it does not mean the manufacturer/company allows it.

I did not read the blog post, but google has always allowed you
to bid on ads with brand names as keywords. Well maybe
not always, but it gives everyone a chance to sell items, such
as ipads. You have a store that sells ipads, you can bid on that
term. I can't say when google ever did not allow this. It would be
the same thing as you running a newspaper ad selling your ipad.

Not all Trademarks were allowed when we launched a few projects for clients with the domain such as Facebook or twitter we had to change the whole domain for the clients to FB or twit.com example because of google rules in adwords.

No prob, glad you like it, if you know like I know that opens up a nice chunk of inventory for PPC bidding. In regards to the other posters comment Google does not allow trademark name bidding unless you are doing a totally neutral review of a product or something. Other than that they will reject your ads for trademark bidding. The companies who want to persue it and try to get the engines to shut you down will now have a much harder time doing so. So it's wide open
