I think you may have a better shot ranking for 'i love apples' by using a domain name that has the exact match and adding something to it. For example, iloveappless.com, yailoveapples.com, becauseiloveapples.com, iloveapplesonline.com etc... Just my opinion but I think it would be easier to rank for the kw you want in this manner but others may disagree.
