OMG Wikipedia is Fast at getting a Link Indexed!

I created a new page of content, then did a Wikipedia edit that included a small sample of my content.

I went directly to Google did a search for my blogs new page title, Bingo! New page was Indexed!

My page was indexed in the amount of time it took me to do the Google search which was a simple copy & paste.

If I post on an open forum my exact steps for how I'm getting links, it might only be a matter of days before someone pisses off wiki enough to stop everyone that tries to take shortcuts (instead of following me step-by-step).

It does take a little bit of work (not a lot), once you know how to get the links to stick & post a few backlinks it's actually faster & way more powerful than trying to get a bunch of crappy low PR backlinks (profiles, blog comments, etc...).

I know for a fact all except 1 backlink I've posted on wiki has stuck.

I have sent a few PMs that shows the basics of what I'm doing to get my backlinks on wiki. That link I've sent is the very basics, the downside is that exact technique is easier to get your link removed/deleted from wiki. I have my own twist that works better for me, my success rate is at least 99% in having those backlinks stick.

I'll tell you guys now, these links are nofollow, but it's as If that nofollow doesn't exist to Google/Yahoo/Bing. Wiki is a very powerful site for backlinks, anyone that has ever had a link stick on wiki will tell you the same.

The purpose of this thread when I first posted was only because I had never used wiki for backlinks until the OP date. I just thought it was kinda cool how fast those links got picked up by Google.

I'm still on the fence If I should show my own personal exact step-by-step. I use this technique for my own sites that's the reason I'm a bit leary of going public, once it's out you can't take it back.

Maybe I'm just worring too much, I mean If I do post my steps I won't get banned, It'll be the guys that try to take shortcuts.

If I put together a step-by-step ebook would you guys be interested in my wiki backlinks technique/twist? I'll have to charge for this (won't be much) If I do an ebook, because it'll be a lot of screenshots & step-by-step tutorials, which will take me some time to get ready. Just know this, If I make an ebook it will be worth every penny. I won't put my name on some crappy product, that's not how I work.

Warriorfroum gets links index very quick as well. Just search Google for your thread title and you can see this page has already been indexed.

If is not related and not a quality website, of course it will be deleted.

Yea wikipedia is spidered like crazy, but unless your the link you placed was EXTREMELY clean and relevant, it will be taken down within a few hours.

Trust me, wiki has a back door that is 100% legit, & they actually ask for real help to keep wiki running.

It does require a little bit of work, until you know what your doing, after that it's very easy.

I've had 1 link deleted out of over 20 links, I'm looking at my live wiki backlinks as I type this (which most are around 30 days old).

I think I know part of what you are talking about and I agree that maybe you should not post it on the forum. There are many people here who are just looking for fast links. On wikipedia you have to offer value too and it would be nice not to be invaded by hundreds of spammers. I think they will just change the rules. There are already some rules imposed after spammers over used some easy methods. You used to be able to post an image and link it to your website, right now your account has to be approved after at least 10 edits to be able to post an image.

Really the fastest way to get listed is to create a master website of your own...it could take months or even years.
Try to aim at creating a PR5 website, then....once your site is up and running you can create other sites and post a link from it and google will index it within 2 to 24 hours....

Sure that's a long term goal.....but once you've got a great PR site your on your way.
Infact even a P3 site can help get you ranked within 2 days, but you may need a few other back links.

Also posting links on ebay is fast, but different ebay pages have different PR rankings...I found posting links on Topix.com can help also.

Yes, there are ways of getting your link to stick if you know what your doing. My friend explained this process of how he gets his wiki links to stick..I should have paid attention

You do have to be very careful when first starting out (backlinking on wiki).

I've had a 99% success rate so far.

I think my twist on this technique is what keeps most of my own links sticking on wiki.

No doubt you have to fly under the radar, because the Mods on wiki will delete your links without thinking twice.

Still, my backlinks are going strong for over a month now. The wiki backlinks are showing in both GWT (Google Webmaster Tools) + Yahoo Explorer. Each of my wiki backlinks also has a Google cache with each of my own backlinks intact.

Most guys go into wiki with guns a blazing, that's not the way it works. This isn't your standard backlink, with this backlink you got to give a little before you start backlinking to your own site.

I contribute more to wiki than I backlink. Example, I'm creating content 3 seperate times for ever single backlink I post. Some guys might be thinking wtf, that's a lot for so little backlinks, WRONG, each one of those authority backlinks is like freakin gold.

Also when I say my single link was deleted from wiki, that link still exist on wiki, just in another location. So really I've had 100% success rate since my backlink never really left wiki, it's just in another location.

My technique with wiki is long-term otherwise I wouldn't bother trying to get a link.

As of yesterday my wiki links are 30 days old, ranked in the SERPs, Google cache, & showing in both GWT + Yahoo Explorer.

Google won't slap a site for having wiki backlinks, what's that about, doesn't make any sense?

Really the fastest way to get listed is to create a master website of your own...it could take months or even years. Try to aim at creating a PR5 website, then....once your site is up and running you can create other sites and post a link from it and google will index it within 2 to 24 hours.... Sure that's a long term goal.....but once you've got a great PR site your on your way. Infact even a P3 site can help get you ranked within 2 days, but you may need a few other back links. Also posting links on ebay is fast, but different ebay pages have different PR rankings...I found posting links on Topix.com can help also.
