Hi Guys, just wondered if any of you have any advice you could give me on moving a fairly large, messy music-artist website to a new domain AND a new structure? CURRENT WEBSITE: www.currentdomain.com 200 indexed pages, very poor SEO, horrible navigation - probably built using Frontpage 98 NEW WEBSITE: www.newdomain.com Wordpress based, good SEO - completely different structure to old site but similar content We could launch the new site and keep the old one up with a 301 redirect + do a little linkbuiding on the new domain & email the current backlinkers to see if they can modify their links. I've also read though this: SEO Guide: How to Properly Move Domains | SEOmoz however if anyone has any further advice I would appreciate it! Thanks |
