Default Where to outsource backlinkers?

Hi all,

Hope this finds you guys in good health and lots of ka-ching!!

Am currently looking for someone to create manual backlinks for some of my websites. Some good ones perhaps, not those that blast out backlinks using some software.

Does anyone know of some good places to find some freelances to do my backlinks?

Really appreciate any feedback

Thanks in advance!

with best regards,
Dan

Heard hit and misses from odesk.com
"Most" stories I've heard involved people hiring; then they not doing anything and then still having to pay the hours.

Here's a more popular thread about odesk from 2009: odesk.com/community/node/9044]Buyers Beware: oDesk is a scam - oDesk Forum

Try odesk.com and freelancer.com. You will find many freelancers there but dont forget to check them with a sample task.

I've used odesk personally and it's not hit or miss for me.

Here's what you do:
- In the ad you're posting ask for samples of links that the workers have posted previously
- Compile all of the top level sites into a single list (a great free way to get a list of sites to create backlinks from!)
- Hire the workers to complete X of links per hour of work.
- Limit the project to X number of hours
- Demand that a list of URLs be given to you for checking

Bottom line is you can review and dispute the timelog (work diary) for each worker every week.

As I said in my previous post you have to be detailed. Not to belittle the workers, but it's like talking to a child. Don't assume anything! They're not paid to make decisions, they're paid to follow instructions. If you give bad instructions you'll definitely get a "hit or miss" situation.

Alrighty; thanks for the clarification sng.
I just heard some good and bad. Never outsorced myself. So that's some my advice from reading and observing others.

Definitely sng's advice > mine tho

Either look here (WSO, Warriors for Hire) and scrutinise carefully before buying.

OR

Use or do it yourself a service like UAW.

A cheap way if you don't want to do any of the article writing is to get some articles written by someone at Odesk that are in a spin format for either Unique Article Wizard (paragraph by paragraph) or Article Marketing Automation (sentence by sentance). This should cost no more than $5 for the article and 2 spins. Then go to fiverr.com and have someone put the article through their UAW or AMA (or a similar system) for another $5.

It's very true that when working with VA's, most of the time when they don't deliver what i asked for, it's becasue i made the mistake of assuming they would have some initiative. I don't mean that in a bad way but what we might call 'common sense' is actually not that common. Most of us on here have the initiatve to start up our own sites and businesses etc, but that doesnt mean everyone has the same abilities. If you sit dow nand think out exactly, step by step needs to be done, then write it down and make training videos, you will find the VA does the job how you asked.

I have just used the Warriors For Hire and Vworker.com. Both did good work, but I read up on the Warriors posing and saw meaningful feedback from established members before buying. With Vworker, I posted *exactly* what I wanted, asked for past work as well.

Both yielded the work being what I expected.

You may want to contact a local company, ask them for relevant examples or past clients.
Fiverr would sometimes mean a shabby job (people selling .edu links do 100's of them everyday, just my 2c)
Odesk is an option to consider.

Please forgive me if my questions seem "basic" but I am LEARNING! Someone told me today if I have a new sight NOT to get a lot of backlinks until site is 6 months old as to prevent SANDBOXING. Is this accurate and does that mean I can't start heavily promoting and making money for 6 months???? No way!

There are a lot of people offering their services on the common IM forums. Otherwise I think freelancer.com might get you some people who charge very less for what they do. You can look at their feedback and use the freelancer.com escrow payment if you want.

I use Odesk for all of my outsourcing, and it is simply amazing. You do have to use some dilligence though. I would definitely follow snginnovations' instructions, and you will definitely see success!

You definitely need to be careful with oDesk, because there are a lot of ways to get screwed.
IMO, the problem with oDesk is that it's somehow difficult for employers to keep an eye on contractors. There is a method to see what the contractor is doing (screenshots every 10 minutes) but it's kind of difficult to use - it's berried in the user interface.

Therefore, I would suggest using fixed fee jobs - they are safer because you only pay when you get the results.
