Greetings everyone, I am going to develop a website with the main keyword "wisdom dental"(name of the dental clinic) for my homepage. My URL will be wisdom-dental(.)com and the content will be SEO optimized as well. When i already rank my keyword "wisdom dental", my plan is to rank laser targeted keywords like "bay area dentist", "san francisco dentist" and etc. to my home page too. How can i do that? Should i build up profile backlinks using the laser targeted keywords? Is it going to work? like for example i am going to forums, dental blogs and make backlinks using the keywords "bay area dentist" and etc. since the keyword "wisdom dental" isn't a targeted keyword, its just the name of the clinic. i want to target patients within the area. Also i dont want to put links on my website like "bay area dentist" "fremont dentist" and etc. It will be more of like "home" "services" "appointment" etc. I short how can i rank the keywords "bay area dentist" "fremont dentist" and etc. on my website? Thanks |

Build back links to your site for "san franciso dentist" or "bay area dentist". Are you going to do it yourself or you are asking some one to do it? I can also suggest you keywords if you like. Kindly send me PM if you plan to do it by someone. |

Thanks zoobie. I'm planning to do the backlinking myself using article marketing, forum profiles and etc. But i am going to outsource the content since i suck when it comes to writing. Need a professional to do the SEO optimized content. Im also planning to try the fiverr gig, the 5000+ xrumer verified backlinks for $5. Do you think its any good? Lastly my brother wants the domain to be wisdom-dental(.)com, can i use that domain but my title,h1,meta,content will be SEO optimized for the keywords "bay area dentist, fremont dentist etc.?? Thanks |

| Not at all. If you build a couple manual links on high pr pages, that will be equivalent to the 5,000. It is only 5 bucks, so you might as well give it a shot, just don't expect amazing results. Focus on a few blog comments, I would ditch profile links altogether. A couple articles, a press release, sign up on some social networks, and you will be ahead of most.

$5 isn't much and you really want link diversity. if your planning to hit local sites i would recommend breaking down your site into regions as topics. This way you can zero in and focus on ONE keyword while you build your campaigns around them. |

For what you are doing you want to think quality links over quantity. Find high PR sights that are all about dentistry. Don't waste too much time on random blog posts or article sites. A few quality RELEVANT backlinks are worth far more than many random ones. Don't forget to backlink your blog and content posts with social bookmarking. Good luck! -joel |

One thing that you might consider is utilizing a keyword domain. When you have your keyword in your domain name, you are generally able to rank more quickly for that keyword. For example, bayareadentist (dot) org is available, and so is bayareadental (dot) net. However, if it is vital that you remain with wisdom-dental(.)com, which I believe that it is, I suggest that you target, "dentists in bay area". This is a very low competition key phrase with a decent amount of traffic for your niche. If you are interested, I can identify other low competition, high traffic keywords and available domain names in your niche market. I am using a software program which I had developed. Just send me a PM and I will send them over. |

A great way to find relevant keyword phrases for your niche is to use a program like micro niche finder. You type in the main key word phrase you want to use, and MNF will give you a list of alternate keyword phrases to use along with your main set. It will also give you information on those phrase like: searches per month, competitors using those phrases, and how well the competitors are SEO'd for those specific phrases. -joel |

I learned this one last night. I'm still an ugly rookie so anyone feel free to correct all of this at your discretion please. For each keyword you are going to use have your guys write 3 completely different articles. So if you are gonna use 4 kewords you will need 12 articles. 1. One goes on your website on its own page. I would ping it and submit it to an RSS feed as soon as you post it to the site. 2. The second article goes to your favorite article directory like EzineArticles (you can submit it to 4 or 5 if you want). In the lower part of the article, link back to the specific page on your website that has the first article. This could also go in your resource box... 3. The third article will be submitted to as many article directories as you want. Be sure to have one anchor text linking back to the specific page on yor website that has the first article. Then include a link to the specific page (URL) of your second article. This way you are cross linking the heck out of all your articles and getting backlinks to your website. That's for the first keyword. Assuming you are gonna have about 3 or 4, you would perform the same actions. (I had that all screwed up so my site should do quite well over the next 2-3 weeks after I make the changes.) Now, if I understand this right, on each page of your website that has an article with its own unique keyword, pick an anchor text and internal link it back to the main page. So cool! This method will create several backlinks from the article directories and some from the people that borrow your articles. Then it also creates internal links. Somebody please correct the above so I can make sure I'm on the right track. |
