Google Stopped me from searching keywords intitle with quotes..

Google says.. we've detected irregular activity with your searches.. what's with this bs??! I need to check the amount of searches and can't if google won't let me search a keyword with quotes or intitle.

Anyone else having this problem!

This happens when you search too frequently in a row. The same also happens if you use any kind of keyword or rank tracking tool for too long.

Solution: Use a VPN or proxy and rotate IP's the next time you do a search like that.

Anyway, the ban should be lifted within a couple of hours.

You have obviously been doing a lot of irregular searches. Someone doing natural searches is not going to be doing a whole lot of intitle searches or things like that.

please excuse my ignorance but what the heck is a VPN or proxy?? and what do you mean rotate IP's.

I really want this solved cause i like to research all my kewords for hours at a time.. not with big intervals.

Why would google ban you for this? Are they afraid you break into their algorithm secret?

Think about the additional AND unnecessary resources that would be used if every second person did this. If the searches don't appear natural then why wouldn't they block them?! They don't want keyword software programs putting unnecessary strain on their resources.

No worries.

A proxy is basically a way to change your IP address. That way google will think you are a different user (of course you should clear your browser cache and cookies before activating the proxy) and will lift the ban immediately. A proxy changes the IP for one program at a time (like your browser), while a VPN funnels your whole computer connection through a different server/IP. Stick with the proxy for now.

1.) Go to a site like Proxybonanza and grab their cheapest shared plan.
2.) Download a firefox addon like Foxyproxy
3.) Download Ccleaner
4.) Read the helpfiles of foxyproxy to understand how to implement your proxies from proxybonanza into your browser.
5.) Once you know how to do it, close down firefox completely, run ccleaner and clear all temp files (like cookies, cache etc.), start it up again and activate one of your proxies via foxyproxy.
6.) search google again, you shouldn't get the ban message anymore.

Ya, that makes sense.. but do you have a solution for me? I love to drill down my keywords and get them all refined in a day.. I really love my schedule.. anyway can I trick google or get my searches done without being interrupted by google every 15 minutes??

There are plenty of software programs that use Google searches. As the poster above mentioned the only way to get around this is to use something like a proxy.

Definitely look into getting one. They are very affordable.

Wow. great information. thank you. I must admit I'm a lil leary right now of adding additional monthly fees. but it's a great resource. I know it's here if I decide to spend the money. Better a small paid solution than no solution.
