Hey there. I would like to ask what website i have to ping when i build backlinks? Lets say i build 100 backlinks in a day, do i have to ping those websites where i build backlinks, or my website?

You actually want to ping your own website, blog, or vlog, only when you add new content.

However, if the backlinks which you are building are in a content website such as an article directory, or a platform such as Squidoo, then you would want to ping the URL to the new content which contains the backlink to your website.

I'm using pingomatic to ping newly created backlinks.

Just ping your own blog every time you update it! I use feed shark. Many use pingomatic.

Pinging is a way of checking and or announcing for the presence of your new added content on your site. That's why, when a new content is added on your site, its important to ping it.

I use Ping Device in pinging my backlinks.

Pinging is very important to easily index your site it is a way to inform search engine portals that there is something new in your site, I usually use pingler and pingomatic

Pinging should only be used when new content is added to a web property. If you posted a link somewhere, it is likely that the page is already indexed.

RSS submit may be the other ways to achieve the same effect of pinging, can anybody has viewpoint?
