Default Submitting feeds...

Can anybody give me some advice on submitting feeds to aggregators and search engines? Is this something good to do? Where should I submit to. I have created feeds feed.xml on my root directories. Now I'm not sure what to do with them really. Any advice?

Yes, it is something good to do. I submit my feeds to feedping which submits to a large number of ping services. But, here is a list of 90 services you can submit your RSS feed to.

Know about structured settlements and settlement payment benefits? Guest authors and bloggers welcomed at my structured settlement blog.

Do you ping Feedping with each new post?

No. I personally just submit the RSS feed one time to this service. Right after I have built a site and created a few pages/posts. I think it's a good idea to submit your feeds to as many other sites as well.

I use RSSBot to streamline this. Nice and simple.

Thanks Larry. I didn't know about the site you referenced and appreciate the info.

It is a good and whitehat practice. However they help to get some traffic and good position in search engines and it will increase your income if you work with adsense through adsense for feeds.
