'Fresh content' on singular sell pages?

I'm quite new to SEO, but I read somewhere that a key importance to successful SEO is to have continual fresh content to the site.

I'm trying to promote a product on my domain through a sell/review page.

example:
www.mydomain.com/coffee-beans

and I am SEOing only this page for the keyword of 'coffee beans' to hopefully grab No.1 on google.

since I am not SEOing my main homepage, I will be promoting the same old page over and over again. how can I effectively satisfy the element of 'fresh content' in this matter?
